Digital art doesn't have to be super expensive. If you have an iphone or an ipad, I recommend checking out Procreate, which is only $10. If you'd rather not spend the money, there's free art apps as well. Krita and IbisPaint are ones I've seen recommended. I use a knock-off apple pencil-style stylus that cost about $15, but I know people who draw with their finger and are quite good with it.
