Doing The Thing
Doing The Thing
I got a notification recently that I was accepted to a virtual entrepreneurship program for trans folks. Which is super cool! It's on east coast time, so I had to run it past my manager so I can pop over in the middle of the day for calls, but I should be all set now to do it. I also sent in an application for my local LGBTQ chamber of commerce sort of organization, haven't heard back on that yet but hopefully soon.
I'm also moving forward on some of the body mods I've been putting off for decades. This weekend I got the second set of earlobe holes I've wanted since I was a teenager. I also talked to a tattoo artist and I'm looking at finally getting my first tattoo. Which feels like a weird thing to be thinking about in my 40s, but since I can't go back in time and do it, now's the next best option, right?
My day job is a bit of a whirlpool of unknowns at the moment, but it's nice feeling like I have control over stuff outside of that, like working on my writing, or on other things like this. I work on my website, it makes me feel like I have control over something in my life.
I never did hear back from the buyer about my stickers, but oh well, no harm done, right?
