Eltanin: Meaning "the serpent" in Arabic, this star is the eye of the Dragon. It and the other four stars in the head make good standards for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th magnitude stars. Eltanin is useful to know because it has right ascension of 18h, and is circumpolar for many, so it can be used to tell sidereal time.

I'm feeling kind of in overload, probably left over from finals week and it'll clear up in a day or two. I hope it does, anyway. I have a stack of half-finished drabbles and shortfics sitting next to me. It's really frustrating when you can't focus enough to finish a drabble, ya know?

And research. I feel like I'm being dragged in five different directions, but I think that's just because I haven't found the synthesis point yet. In one who is not balanced, the five elements and the five aspects are drawing apart. That doesn't mean they don't belong there; it only means the center has not been found. Once I find the center, the strings which now pull on my will bear me aloft so I can rest.

… Well, that's the theory, anyway.
